Cookie Policy

Effective date: October 1, 2026

Cookies and similar browser storage

A cookie is a small piece of information a website can ask your browser to store. Cookies may support functions such as login sessions, preferences, security checks, or measurement. Browser storage can also be used through technologies other than cookies.

This policy explains the role of cookies on RetirementPlanCalc without claiming a complete, independently audited inventory of hosting or delivery-provider cookies. For questions, email contact@retirementplancalc.com.

Our calculators

The calculator code runs in your browser and does not intentionally set cookies, create a profile, or store calculation entries in local storage. You do not need an account to calculate a scenario.

Calculator inputs may remain visible while a page is open or be restored by your browser’s normal form behavior. That is different from the website deliberately saving a financial profile.

WordPress and site delivery

WordPress can use cookies for signed-in administrators and other core functions. Hosting, caching, delivery, or security services may use cookies or related request information to operate and protect the website.

Whether a particular cookie appears can depend on your route, login state, browser, and provider configuration. A cache plugin does not mean every visitor receives the same cookies. The privacy policy explains related technical information.

Inspect and control cookies

  1. Open your browser’s privacy or site-data settings.
  2. Search for retirementplancalc.com/ to inspect or clear stored site data.
  3. Use the browser’s cookie controls to block categories of cookies or clear them after a session.
  4. Reload the page and check whether a function you need still works.

Browser interfaces differ, so consult the browser’s current help pages for exact instructions. Blocking essential cookies can interfere with signed-in administration or security-related functions. It should not be necessary to sign in simply to use our calculators.

Optional services and consent

If advertising, optional analytics, or embedded third-party services are added, their storage and consent requirements should be assessed before activation. This page is not a claim that an optional cookie-consent system has already been installed or configured.

Where applicable law requires consent before nonessential storage, consent must be handled through an appropriate mechanism. A policy page alone is not a consent mechanism.

Privacy signals and changes

Browser privacy signals can differ in purpose and legal effect. We do not claim that every signal has a particular effect on every infrastructure service. Send a privacy question if you need clarification about information associated with your visit.

This policy should be revised when site services or storage practices change. A future feature that collects information should not rely solely on this general explanation.
