This policy explains the information involved in using RetirementPlanCalc and contacting us. Questions or requests may be sent to contact@retirementplancalc.com. Do not send sensitive financial documents or account credentials.

This website is built with WordPress and uses services needed to deliver and protect its pages. A visitor’s device must communicate with the hosting and delivery infrastructure to load the site. This policy does not claim that every infrastructure provider has the same logging or retention practices.

Calculator entries

Our calculators perform their arithmetic in your browser. They do not connect to your bank, employer, investment accounts, or benefit records. The calculator code does not submit your input values to our server or intentionally store those values in a visitor profile.

Information you voluntarily send in an email is separate from calculator use. Browser extensions, your device, and services outside our control may have their own practices. Avoid entering identifying details when a rounded or hypothetical number will work.

Technical information and communications

Hosting, security, caching, and delivery services may process technical data such as IP addresses, request times, requested URLs, browser information, and security events. Those records may be used to deliver pages, diagnose errors, and protect the site.

If you contact us, your message may include your name, email address, and the information you choose to share. We use those details to respond, investigate a report, handle a request, or maintain a necessary record of the communication.

Cookies and third-party services

WordPress and site infrastructure can use cookies for functions such as administrative login, security, or preferences. Ordinary calculator use does not require an account. Our calculator code does not set advertising cookies or load live account services.

The cookie policy explains how to inspect and control cookies. We do not present an unverified inventory of every cookie set by a hosting or delivery provider. If analytics, advertising, embedded services, or additional data collection are introduced, the applicable disclosures and consent arrangements should be reviewed before those services are used.

Sharing, retention, and security

Service providers may process information as needed to operate the site or email service. Information may also need to be disclosed to meet a legal obligation or protect against misuse, subject to applicable law.

We aim to retain communications only while needed for their purpose, a legal obligation, or a reasonable operational record. Provider logs may follow the provider’s own retention settings. We do not promise an exact deletion schedule that has not been verified.

We use ordinary site security measures, but no website or email channel is completely secure. Do not send information that would expose your accounts if disclosed.

Your choices and requests

You can use the calculators without creating an account, limit what you email, and manage cookies through your browser. Depending on where you live and which law applies, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or otherwise control personal information.

Email a specific request and the information needed to locate the relevant record. We may request proportionate verification. Some requests may be limited by legal obligations or by records controlled by a separate provider. See our data-rights page for further explanation.

Children and updates

The site is intended for general adult retirement education and does not invite children to submit personal information. If you believe a child has sent personal data, contact us.

This policy should be reviewed when site practices change. The effective date identifies this version; it is not a claim of independent privacy certification.
