Report a copyright concern
RetirementPlanCalc respects intellectual-property rights. If you believe material on this website infringes your copyright, contact contact@retirementplancalc.com and provide enough detail for us to identify the work and the material in question.
This page provides an ordinary copyright-contact process. It does not state that the site has registered a designated DMCA agent or qualifies for a particular statutory safe harbor. Any formal legal notice should follow the requirements that apply to it.
Information that helps us investigate
- Your name and a reliable contact email.
- A description of the copyrighted work you own or are authorized to represent.
- The exact URL and location of the allegedly infringing material.
- A link or other information showing the original work.
- An explanation of the concern and the action you are requesting.
Do not send unrelated sensitive information. If you are representing another rights holder, explain that authority. Identifying a topic shared by two articles is not the same as identifying copied protected expression.
Formal notices and legal requirements
US copyright law sets requirements for certain formal infringement notices and counter-notices. These may include particular statements, a signature, and other information. Consult the relevant statute or qualified legal counsel when preparing a legal notice.
Our request for useful investigative detail does not replace those requirements or promise that every message will be treated as a statutory DMCA notice. Claims about ownership and infringement should be made carefully and truthfully.
How a concern is reviewed
We may inspect the identified material, compare the sources, ask for clarification, and consider permission, licensing, or other applicable grounds for use. Depending on the evidence, material may be removed, revised, credited, or retained.
A report does not automatically establish infringement. Likewise, retaining material while reviewing a concern is not a conclusion about its legal status. We do not promise a fixed response time or a particular outcome before reviewing the facts.
Our content and permissions
You may link to public pages and use material where the law or an applicable permission allows it. Please ask before reproducing substantial original articles, calculator explanations, or other protected content.
Include the material you want to use, where it will appear, and whether you plan to change it. Government-source links and calculator arithmetic do not mean that every original element of our website is freely licensed.
Questions and disputes
Copyright questions can involve facts and legal standards beyond the scope of a site editor’s response. This policy is general information, not legal advice. For a dispute with significant legal consequences, seek appropriate legal guidance.
